Private Expeditions
Jagged Globe provide tailor-made expeditions for private teams
Private Expedition Enquiry Form
Introduction
You decide on your climbing objective and when you want to go, then we make the logistic arrangements for you. This gives you the advantage of having complete control over your trip without having the administrative headache of expedition organisation. Your time prior to the expedition's departure is therefore freed so you can concentrate on other things, such as raising sponsorship or simply keeping busy at work.Private expeditions from 2001-2007 included:
- Caudwell Xtreme Everest
- Xtreme Cho Oyu, Tibet
- Makalu, Nepal
- Everest West Ridge, Tibet
- Baruntse, Nepal
- Lhakpa Ri, Tibet
- Spantik, Karakoram
- Mera Peak, Nepal
- Everest Base Camp Trek, Nepal
- Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
- Cotopaxi, Ecuador
- Djebel Toubkal, Morocco
- Aconcagua, Argentina
- Annapurna Circuit, Nepal
Your expedition can be a carbon copy of one of those described on this website, arranged to suit your available holiday period, or we can make the arrangements for your own unique trip, whether to Kilimanjaro or K2. Even if you are undecided where to go, we can help you identify a suitable objective for your team. You then have the option of having a Jagged Globe leader go with you, or leading the trip yourself with the assistance of our local guides and helpers.
The benefits of having your own Independent Expedition are:
- You choose your own dates.
- You decide who you want to go with.
- You have the option to take a Jagged Globe leader or go self-led.
- A range of services can be tailored to your budget.
The cost of going private can be surprisingly reasonable, particularly if you take the self-led option. The larger the group, the less the cost per person, and considerable savings can be made over the price of comparable brochure trips.
Whether your expedition idea is absolutely clear or completely vague, you are welcome to contact us for an initial discussion. We will then be able to send you a detailed quotation, entirely without obligation, and offer useful advice and suggestions. Alternatively, you can fill in the Enquiry Form on this website.
We have made private expedition arrangements for many groups, varying from one person to groups of up to 22 people. These include groups of friends, school and voluntary groups (through Adventureworks), clubs, film companies, charity organisations, the police and a large number of military teams.
