Ski Miage Weekend

Duration 5 Days » Grade Intermediate

Thursday to Monday, 3 full days skiing

Great skiing including a traverse of the Dômes de Miage and descent of the Armancette Glacier. A final hit before putting the skis in the garage for the summer! Please note that hotel nights in Chamonix are on a bed and breakfast basis on this course.

Grade: Intermediate

Start point: Hotel L'Arve, Chamonix

Outline Programme

Day 1:	Course participants meet at the course base at 7pm. Briefing on the week's activities in the evening.
Day 2:	Walk/Skin to Tré-la-Tête hut.
Day 3:	Le Pain de Sucre de Mont Tondu 3,169m, descent and up to Conscrits hut.
Day 4:	Traverse the Dômes de Miage followed by one of the best descents of the Alps - le famous Glacier d'Armancette.
Day 5:	Dispersal. Breakfast will be provided on the last morning before leaving the course.

Pre-Course Skiing Ability

You should be an experienced Ski Mountaineer able to ski off-piste to a high standard and to stay in control in all snow types.
